Research

Developing the methods
Research develops the Large Physics Models and methods that sit around them to make them practical and powerful, pioneering new approaches to modeling the physical world. This includes both advances on established techniques and entirely new foundations for how advanced industries design, build, and innovate.

Product

Building the platform
Product is building a cutting-edge platform that empowers data scientists, machine learning engineers, and simulation engineers to create, train, and deploy physics-informed models. Our platform is the core software that powers the work and impact of PhysicsX, from the cloud infrastructure that runs our Large Physics Models to the intuitive interfaces engineers across customer organizations use every day.

Delivery

Ensuring the outcomes
Delivery takes the PhysicsX platform into the real world, working directly alongside customers to build workflows that enable better engineering decisions. These engineers, ML specialists, and domain experts embed into customer organizations, tuning and deploying the technology in high-stakes, high-impact environments to ensure positive outcomes that are measurable and lasting.

Introduction interview

An initial call (or two) where we get the chance to learn more about each other.

First problem-solving interview

Skill fit interview tailored to your role. It could be pair-programming, an administrative challenge, a presentation, a take-home challenge, or just a conversation.

Second problem-solving interview

Deeper technical interviews and discussions that should give you a good sense of what it's like to work at PX.

Final interview

Final round of discussions picking up on any open points, often with senior members of the team.

FAQ

Can I apply for more than one role?
We encourage you to apply for one open position at a time. Our teams will consider your profile for any open role that might be relevant and will propose a change of track if relevant.
What benefits does PX provide?
Our benefits package includes generous pension contributions, health insurance, enhanced parental support, and development opportunities. Ask our talent team for more insights.
Is visa sponsorship and/or relocation support available?
We provide support for relocation to both the UK and the US, depending on individual circumstances. In the UK, this includes visa sponsorship, where applicable. Our talent team will share more details about how we assist new PXers in making the move.
Does PX offer internships, graduate schemes or work experience placements?
Not yet – and we probably won’t for a while. We’ll update this website if anything changes.
Do you allow hybrid working?
Definitely. Most of us are in the the office 2-3 days per week, but ultimately that depends on what works best for you and the people you collaborate with. If you have specific needs regarding your location or working pattern, just let us know during your intro call, and we can talk more about it then.
Are the interviews in person?
We'll aim to have at least one interview in person, so you can get a chance to meet a few of your future colleagues. However, we will make any required accommodations if you have specific needs.
Do you give application and/or interview feedback?
If we interview you but don't move forward in the process, we'll aim to let you know within a few days and share feedback. Due to the high number of applications we receive every day, we are, unfortunately, not able to provide feedback to applicants who do not make it to the interview stage.
